My car is busted — but I never missed class
This past winter was a brutal one in our area: we had a ton of ice and snow, and all of that cold, harsh winter weather really took its toll on my automobile. It has actually been sidelined now for several weeks — I need to save up the necessary funds in order to pay for repairs. Astonishingly, though, I am a student and never missed a single class — and that is because I am pursuing my education online, so I normally don’t have to travel back and forth to classes at all. This sure was something that came in handy when my car when in for repairs: although I am struggling to meet my expenses, at least I don’t have the additional hassle of having missed a lot of class lectures.
