Company Reputation
I have had many jobs, both in large corporations and for small business owners. In either case, they usually do a background check. They want to make sure that I am not into drugs, and that I do not have a criminal record. My court records have been open for them to check as they please. I have been a good citizen all of my life, so I have nothing to worry about. If I was in their position, I would want to make sure that my company was in good hands, as well. They do not have time to worry about their reputation.
