Our School Is Now Bat Free
I am the principal of an elementary school and, recently, we had several bats that took up residence in our school gym. The bats would come out and fly around during physical education classes and scare the children. I was afraid of a child or employee being bitten by a rabid bat. I also am aware that bats and their feces can be toxic to a person’s health. I promptly called Orlando bat control and they came within an hour to the school. I am not sure how they did it, but our school is now bat free. I am happy to be relieved of that danger.
