So you bought a new water cooler for the office a few months ago, and your employees love it. But how often should you check your watercooler? By not regularly checking your water cooler you are putting your employees at risk for water contamination. When not maintained properly, water coolers can be a breeding ground for bacteria and germs.
Most manufacturers recommend you check your water cooler at least once per month to ensure that all of the seals are intact, and that all of the pieces are properly assembled and connected. This ensures that no germs or bacteria can get into the water cooler.
